COMPAMED and electronica 2022: PI Ceramic Presents Piezo Elements for Medical Technology and the Electronics Industry
From November 14 - 17, PI Ceramic will present a wide range of products for MedTech applications in the IVAM joint pavilion at the COMPAMED (hall 8a, booth 8AH23).
At almost the same time, from 15 - 18 November, the company will also take part in the electronica in Munich. In hall B3, booth 412, it will present a wide variety of products from piezoceramic components to OEM complete solutions.
PI Ceramic, a company from the PI Group, is distinguished by thirty years of experience in the development and manufacturing of piezoceramic components, actuators, and subsystems for numerous applications in medical technology and industry.
For example, in medical technology, the products are used for in vitro diagnostics, such as HIV tests, blood sugar tests, or PCR tests. In minimally invasive therapies, piezo-based catheter instruments are used in contactless cardiovascular operations.
In both medical technology and industry, piezo elements are frequently used in ultrasound sensors, for example, for the smart flow metering of liquids or gases. In devices for intensive medical care, piezo elements make the detection of life-threatening air bubbles possible.
The company's piezo experts have a wide range of expertise in the complex development and manufacturing of functional ceramic components. State-of-the-art production plants ensure high quality, flexibility, and on-time delivery, with prototypes and small series as well as large series in automated production lines.
